NATO National Armaments Directors Representative (NADREP) visit to Italy

From March 4th to 6th 2026, our Ms. MORINO Kumiko joined a working Visit to the Italian Defence Industry organised by the Italian Delegation to NATO, together with allies and partners' National Armaments Directors Representatives (NADREP), to explore Italy’s cutting-edge defence and security sector.
From advanced aerospace engineering to high-tech electronics and naval innovation, the visit highlighted how technology and international cooperation are shaping the future of security.
A key stop was Leonardo S.p.A., a major player in the Global Air Combat Programme (GCAP). Through GCAP, Italy, the United Kingdom, and Japan are co-developing the next-generation fighter aircraft., a project that goes beyond hardware.
